Where to shop for Art, I’ve put together a fab collection from a variety of sources, all under £40.

When it comes to art for your home, there are no rules to follow apart from one…buy it cause you love it!!!  You can go modern to vintage to classic to typography the internet is a wash with all types of affordable art.  I’ve been busy online taking a look at art prints for under £40 and you will be pleased to know that my lowest print was £3.50 -John Lewis, so there are plenty of bargains to be had.  I have pulled together a selection of shops that provide a fab range of art prints, something for everyone.

Made.com
Made.com

Let’s start with made.com, they have a small variety of prints, which is sometimes a good thing especially if you haven’t got the time to surf the web.  Their prints match their style, modern and contemporary. You can pay more to have them delivered in a frame, but if you want to be savvy it’s always good to shop around for cheaper – Ikea, Wilko’s, The Range are good places to shop for frames.

Tate Modern
Tate Modern

Don’t forget about the museum shops for your prints, The Tate Modern Museum online shop is a great resource for wall art. From the Old Masters of Art to Modern Art.  Your spending can range from a postcard of £6 to a limited edition print £2,000, a very big price gap I know but majority of prints are £25.

John Lewis
John Lewis

Next on my hit list is John Lewis. They have a wide range of prints from rolling hill landscapes to geometric, black and white art, you will find art for every room depending on your taste. Love the zebra in boots and Look It’s Bob, humour and cuteness!!!

Next Art2Order

Next Art2order is offering the world of art to us from photography, floral prints to abstract (huge selection of art)  Finding these retro beauties is perfect if your struggling to find the original prints from the charity shops and Ebay. (they are very much in fashion you know!!)

Not On The Highstreet
Not On The High Street

Typography has boomed, it’s everywhere and Not On The High Street is the best place to shop. You can buy prints, you can buy downloads and you can personalise.  A great selection (pages and pages) for you to search, shop for yourself or be good and shop for that perfect gift.

I’m in the market for prints myself so I will let you know how I got on and what I get.  I hope that’s given you a little a bit of a head start on where you can shop to get your art, that just leads me to say ‘get those walls filled with art’.
